New paper published

Within a collaboration with the Department of Medicine of the University of Sassari (Italy) and with the Department of Chemistry and Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, we developed a methodology for the classification of liquors containing pummelo (citrus grandis) extracts. Combining raw UV-VIS data and multivariate analysis, a chemical fingerprint was determined for liquors contaning extracts obtained at different temperatures. Within a collaboration with the Department of Chemistry and the LNMT of the University of Sassari (Italy) we developed a methodology for the classification of vegetable waste oils. Combining IR and UV-VIS spectroscopies and multivariate analysis, a chemical fingerprint was determined for several Waste Cooking Oils (WCOs). New paper published

Within a collaboration with the Djillali Liabès University (Algeria) and  the Department of Chemistry of the University of Sassari (Italy), we studied the possibility to employ bentonite-type clays for the recycling of Used Vegetable Oils. The research open to the possibility to tune many physical parameters of regenerated vegetable oils employing natural and sustainable adsorbents. Click HERE for access to the original manuscript.
